Day 1 Arrival in Passau, sail by night
Passau’s historic centre has a very distinct Mediterranean flair about it. Embarkation at approx. 4:00 pm, departure at 6 pm.

Day 2 Grein - Spitz, approx. 63 km/39 mi, sail by night
Today you will cycle through the famous Wachau area and see the magnificent Abbey Melk. Followed by an overnight boat trip to Bratislava.

Day 3 Bratislava and bike tour, 56 km/35 mi, sail by night
Explore Slovakia’s capital under your own steam or book one of the guided tours offered aboard your ship. You will cycle to the Danubiana Meulensteen island with its art museum and sculpture garden.

Day 4  Kalocsa - Baja, approx. 58 km/36 mi
The ship will take you to Kalocsa, highlights of this stage include Bishop's Palace and the Cathedral. Cycling tour along the car-free Europe bike path through the Puszta.

Day 5 Belgrade and bike tour, 22 km/14 mi, sail by night
The morning starts with a two-and-a-half hours city tour. In the afternoon you will cycle on the Save cycle path.

Day 6 National Park Iron Gate and Silver Lake, 41 km/26 mi
You’ll get to marvel at the Danube Gorge of the Iron Gate along the border between Serbia and Romania. Today's cycle tour leads to the Serbian Silver Lake, formed from a former Danube tributary.

Day 7 Round trip Novi Sad, approx. 46 km/29 mi
Guided city tour Novi Sad, Vojvodina’s capital, and cycling tour along the Danube cycle path with a drink in a typical Čarda.

Day 8 Round trip Mohacs, approx. 38 km/24 mi
You’ll be cycling through the Duna-Dráva National Park in Hungary via the Stork Museum to the Sátorhely Battle Monument. In Mohács, urban bustle and premium wines await.

Day 9 Budapest or Szentendre, 24 - 58 km/15 - 36 mi
There are several optional packets available to book, or why not go ahead and explore the hungarian capital under your own steam. Alternatively you can cycle to the lively artist’s town of Szentendre.

Day 10 Hainburg - Vienna, approx. 56 km/35 mi
Today’s bike tour features a lot of natural beauty and sights well worth visiting, such as Eckartsau Castle on today's cycle tour through the Danube Floodplains National Park.

Day 11 Discovery Vienna
In the morning you’ll take part in a city tour, then it’s time for some shopping on the Mariahilfer Straße or relaxing in a wine tavern in Nußdorf. Vienna’s Imperial Palace, Castle Schönbrunn, the Prater and the Danube Island: there is lots to explore.

Day 12 Mauthausen - Linz, approx. 39 km/24 mi, boat trip
You will cycle through nature at a fast pace, in Enns a 2 € coin will unlock the gate of the town tower. In Linz you should try the eponymous cake - Linzer Torte.

Day 13 Passau and departure
Around 8 am we will be arriving in Passau where this "Tour to the Iron Gate aboard MS Primadonna" concludes. Disembarkation after breakfast.

Personal bikes:
You can always take your own bike with you. Please note, however, that your bike will be loaded twice a day with many others on and off the ship and damage can not be ruled out. A liability for this can not be assumed. We advise you to book one of the good rental bikes.
